Title: Residential Remodeling Estimator Type: Full-Time, Remote (LATAM) Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm EST Location: LATAM (Remote) Compensation: USD $2,200 - $3,600/month About the Company: Our client is a residential remodeling company based in Albany, New York specializing in high-quality kitchen, bathroom, and first-floor addition projects.   Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Estimator to join our team as a dedicated, full-time estimator working within our client's existing systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will own the full bid lifecycle — from plan development and quantity takeoff through final bid submission and project coordination. This is a critical role where accuracy and attention to detail directly impact project profitability and client satisfaction. You will be working directly with the owner and designer and will play a key role in the company's ability to pursue and win more work.   Responsibilities: 1. Develop and refine plan sets in collaboration with the company's designer, progressing from initial concept to detailed construction documents 2. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing from plans and specifications using Buildertrend 3. Manage the full bid solicitation and submission process — from coordinating subcontractor pricing to preparing and submitting complete, accurate bids 4. Solicit pricing from trade subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, tile installers, etc.) based on specific project scopes and design details 5. Support the full project lifecycle from initial high-level estimates through detailed final bids 6. Communicate directly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors via phone, video, and email to clarify scope, pricing, and project details 7. Track active bid invitations, manage the estimating pipeline, and coordinate with project managers on scope and scheduling 8. Complete approximately 200 bids annually to close 50+ residential remodeling projects Requir
