What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 to 5 years of estimating experience in residential remodeling, Proficiency with Buildertrend or comparable project management and estimating software, ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and design details with a high degree of accuracy, End-to-end bid process experience, Proven experience developing plan sets and coordinating with trade subcontractors on scope and pricing, Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Nice to Have
prior experience working remotely for a U. S.-based contractor
What You'll Do.
Develop and refine plan sets
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing
Manage the full bid solicitation and submission process
Solicit pricing from trade subcontractors
Support the full project lifecycle
Track active bid invitations
Complete approximately 200 bids annually
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
working directly with the owner and designer; Develop and refine plan sets in collaboration with the company's designer; coordinating subcontractor pricing; coordinate with project managers
Communication Scope
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal); Communicate directly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors via phone, video, and email
Process & Methodology
project coordination, estimating pipeline, manage multiple projects simultaneously
