What You'll Do.
Assist nursing personnel in provision of basic care
Assist in personal care functions
Support people receiving services with meal preparation
Support people receiving services with feeding
Measure and record intake and output
Measure and record vital signs/weight
Report variations or changes in residents’ condition
Assist in turning and positioning of residents
Assist with proper transfer techniques
Assist with day-to-day operation of their home
Protect and promote rights of each person
Provide support to meet needs
Facilitate person-centered relationships
Implement person’s plan fully
Complete all required documentation
Complete daily progress notes
Complete communication log
Drive and travel as required
Arrange for transportation
Provide transportation
Assist with knowledge of emergency procedures
Assist with knowledge of personal safety
Utilize effective judgment
Assist new staff with orientation
Assist current staff with mentoring
Attend and participate in meetings
Attend and participate in training
