What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), 10-15+ years of experience in field construction, Proven experience in tunneling, underground construction, or ventilation engineering, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role, In-depth knowledge of tunneling methods, ventilation systems, and geotechnical engineering principles, Proficiency in project management software, CAD tools, and technical analysis software (e.g. , AutoCAD, MATLAB, ANSYS), communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and manage competing priorities, Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g. , OSHA, ASTM, NFPA), Familiarity with construction safety protocols and risk assessment methodologies
Nice to Have
Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations, Advanced degree or professional certification (e. g. , PE license)
What You'll Do.
Overseeing the construction
