What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering supervision, Proven experience on TAQA, ADDC, TRANSCO, DEWA, or major utility power projects, background in EHV/HV substations, transmission & distribution networks, or power plants, Experience with switchgear, transformers, protection relays, SCADA, and power cabling, Excellent inspection, reporting, and documentation skills, Ability to manage contractors and work under tight schedules, communication and coordination skills, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD (review level), Project management and document control systems (e. g. , Aconex, Unifier)
Nice to Have
Professional Engineer certification or equivalent, any previous TAQA approval
What You'll Do.
Supervise electrical construction and installation works
Ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
Review and approve electrical submittals
Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines
Identify and recommend corrective actions for site issues
Monitor contractor's quality control activities
Participate in inspections and testing
and energization activities
Verify as-built drawings and handover documents
Enforce HSE policies and procedures
Ensure contractor compliance with safety controls
Report and follow up on safety violations
Monitor progress of electrical works
Review contractor's site instructions and NCRs
Assist in evaluation of variations and claims
Review site progress reports
Liaise with TAQA representatives and contractors
Attend site and technical coordination meetings
Provide technical support during inspections
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, SCADA, and other disciplines; Liaise with TAQA representatives, contractors, subcontractors and 3rd party ADNOC Team; Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings

Process & Methodology
Monitor progress of electrical works against the approved program, Review contractor’s site instructions, RFI responses, and non-conformance reports (NCRs), Assist in evaluation of variations, claims, and technical justifications, Review daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports, Project management systems, Document control systems
