What You'll Achieve.
Develop statistical capacities in 9 AFC member countries; Compile and disseminate ESS according to BPM6; Support preparation to transition to BPM7; Strengthen beneficiary countries’ capacity to compile and disseminate accurate and reliable ESS for decision making

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Post-graduate university degree in statistics, economics, finance, business administration, mathematics or other relevant fields, Proven record of analytical and technical skills on ESS statistical compilation, Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in compiling and disseminating balance of payments, IIP, and external debt, Experience negotiating with country, Sound French oral and written communication, Sound English oral and written communication, Willingness to travel extensively
Nice to Have
Experience in organizing and conducting training courses, Demonstrated project management, Knowledge of ESS and macro-relevant external sector issues specific to the region, Knowledge and experience on emerging topics further elaborated in BPM7 and 2025 SNA, such as globalization, digital economy, climate change, Fluency in Spanish, Fluency in Portuguese
