What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline, 2+ years of experience in reservoir and/or reserves engineering, Familiarity with SEC guidelines and reserves classification standards (SPE-PRMS, SEC definitions), technical understanding of reservoir engineering fundamentals, production forecasting, and economic evaluation, Experience working in a controlled reporting environment with documentation, review and data validation practices, Ability to work effectively with reservoir engineering, operations, accounting, planning, land, marketing, and corporate finance teams, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, Detail-oriented, ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects
Nice to Have
Proficiency with reserves and economics software (e. g. , ComboCurve, ARIES), Microsoft Excel, SQL, Spotfire, Power BI, similar data analytics tools
