What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS degree or higher in physics or engineering or similar tech/science field, 3.0 GPA or higher, laboratory experience, familiarity with data acquisition systems, familiarity with robotics, experience in programming, willingness to learn Matlab, willingness to learn C, willingness to learn C++, willingness to learn HDLs, flexibility to easily move between different tasks, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, work in an office and laboratory environment, work a 40-hour workweek, availability to work overtime during critical peaks, able and willing to travel, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance, access to the NRL facility, US citizen
Nice to Have
advanced degrees, Willingness to participate in sea tests, experience with autonomous underwater vehicles, familiarity with ADM/Xilinx products, familiarity with VIVADO, familiarity with VITIS, ability to program FPGA, ability to program MPSoC
