Industry & Context.
Work at sea testing, significant ship time and dock time, heavy lifting, obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance, access to the NRL facility, US citizen, Travel is required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS degree or higher in physics or engineering or similar tech/science field, 3.0 GPA or higher, laboratory experience, familiarity with data acquisition systems, familiarity with robotics, experience in programming or willingness to learn Matlab, experience in programming or willingness to learn C, experience in programming or willingness to learn C++, experience in programming or willingness to learn HDLs, flexibility to easily move between different tasks, ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, ability to work in an office and laboratory environment, ability to work a 40-hour workweek, availability to work overtime during critical peaks, ability and willingness to travel, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, US citizen, obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance, access to the NRL facility
Nice to Have
advanced degrees, willingness to participate in sea tests, experience with autonomous underwater vehicles, familiarity with ADM/Xilinx products, familiarity with VIVADO, familiarity with VITIS, ability to program FPGA, ability to program MPSoC (Multiprocessor System-on-Chip)
