Nice to Have

What You'll Do.
Lead and support oil palm breeding and improvement programs focusing on Virescens trait development
and nursery operation management.
Develop and implement breeding plans
and crossing matrices for targeted trait improvement.
Conduct and supervise data collection for agronomic
and yield-related traits.
Monitor and evaluate nursery performance.
Analyze breeding and trial data using appropriate statistical tools and methodologies.
Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy of breeding
and research databases.
and monitor research project budgets and operational expenditures.
Coordinate nursery operational activities.
Collaborate with internal units and external research partners.
Monitor project timelines
prioritize research activities
and ensure milestones are achieved.
Provide technical guidance
and supervision to research assistants
Ensure compliance with research protocols
and quality requirements.
Assist in planning and execution of field trials
and nursery experiments.
Prepare technical reports
and presentations for management review.
Produce scientific publications
and internal documentation.
Maintain accurate records of breeding populations
and operational performance.
