About the Opportunity The Research Support Officer (RSO) provides high level research support services as part of the Group Research Services Team. Working under broad direction, the RSO may be allocated to support research activities at a Group, School/Department, or Research Entity level. In this role, you will deliver a broad range of research, administrative, and communication support, contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the Group’s research activities. As a valued member of the Group Research Services Team, the RSO operates as a shared resource, supporting research initiatives across the Group. This position reports to the Senior Executive Officer (Research Entities). Key responsibilities include * Provide high level administrative and operational research support to researchers, under the guidance of Group research leaders. * Support research reporting requirements, including milestone, budget and project related correspondence. * Deliver administrative and project support across research activities, including committee support, coordination of expertise, external engagement and event management. * Manage research budgets, accounts and HR processes associated with active research projects. * Prepare and analyse data and reports to track research performance (e.g. publications, income and HDR completions). * Support and promote strategic research programs, including coordinating events and maintaining research web and communication content
