**Job Description** **The Department of Neurology has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-Time (100% FTE) Research Study Assistant (RSA).** **** **ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY** Reporting to the Principal Investigator and working under the direction of research coordinators, the Research Study Assistant will support clinical and translational research focused on neurodegenerative diseases, including Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and ataxias. This position supports day-to-day research activities, including participant recruitment and scheduling, conducting study visits, collecting and entering data, and maintaining study records. The RSA will interact directly with research participants and work closely with principal investigators and study teams to ensure accurate data collection and adherence to study protocols. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Screen, consent, and enroll eligible participants in accordance with research study protocols. * Gather, record, organize, transcribe, and verify the accuracy of research study data in accordance with study protocols. * Maintain and update research databases and study records. * Process biological specimens in accordance with laboratory guidelines and research study protocols. * Assist in retrieving medication under the direction of a health care practitioner; maintain accurate drug accountability records * Extract technical, medical and/or behavioral information from institution or clinical records of research subjects * Perform other related duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications:** To be considered for this opportunity your application must demonstrate you meet both the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below.
