What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years of experience with SAS and/or R, other data mining tools, databases, and computer programming
Nice to Have
Experience in biostatistics, translational research, implementation research, and data science research in Family Medicine, Experience conducting research using advanced statistical and computational methods to improve the quality and overall care experience, Expertise in statistical methodology, computation, research, healthcare, and communication, Published in respected journals with high impact factors, Experience with healthcare claims, pharmaceutical, and EHR data

Conducting translational

Undertaking research studies
Protocol and experimental design
Study implementation in clinical practices
Data analysis and interpretation
Independent grant writing and submission
Abstract and manuscript preparation
Presentation at meetings
Performing searches in databases
Preparing presentations
Providing instruction and mentoring
Developing and performing research projects
Generating data quality checks
Writing progress reports
Writing manuscripts for publication
Presenting research findings
and submitting grant funding
Participating in safety and quality assurance activities
Using advanced statistical and computational methods to deliver insights and strategic opportunities
Establishing scalable
and automated processes for large-scale data analyses and model development
Proactively monitoring and analyzing complex projects
Translating research questions into analytical questions
Translating analytical results into research solutions
Writing statistical methodology and results for technical reports and publications
and refining large databases
Developing algorithms for data analysis
Writing computer code to implement algorithms
Creating graphics for data visualization and information display
Partnering with research leadership
Taking leadership of multiple projects concurrently
Accommodating frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Influencing research leadership
Creating timelines for project management
Ensuring successful completion of assigned projects on schedule

Excellent oral, written, and technical communication skills; Solid command of the English language; Demonstrated ability to communicate complex relationships and concepts using data to drive change; Experience in group presentation and public speaking; Ability to translate advanced methodologies and complex results for non-technical audiences
Process & Methodology
Project management, Creating timelines for project management with little or no assistance, Ensuring successful completion of assigned projects on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with research standards and ethics
