As a Research Intern, you will explore how smartphones can transform the way participants are identified in professional conference environments. You’ll work on a forward-looking topic that combines user experience, security, and system design. * Rethink identification – Analyze the current NFC card solution and uncover opportunities for improvement * Explore new technologies – Investigate smartphone-based approaches such as NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and app-based authentication * Design innovative concepts – Develop a future-proof identification solution and define how it integrates into the Bosch DICENTIS ecosystem * Balance usability & security – Evaluate how your concept performs in terms of user experience, reliability, and data security * Make data-driven comparisons – Assess your solution against the existing system and highlight key benefits, trade-offs, and feasibility ## Qualifications Requirements: We are looking for a student who demonstrates an open and proactive attitude, with a strong ability to take initiative. You should be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and maintain a high level of organization. The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications: * Proficiency in English, both verbal and written; Proficiency in Dutch is not a requirement * Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or relevant * You have basic programming skills (e.g. Java, Kotlin, C/C++, or Python)
