citizens of the Five Eyes Alliance (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States) or NATO member countries, ability to work within any applicable project confidentiality, contracting and security requirements, Australian Police/criminal history check, International Police/criminal history check, compliance with applicable Defence-related legislation and project security requirements, including Defence Export Controls and Safeguarding Australia’s Military Secrets legislation where relevant

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

A doctoral or master’s degree in a relevant field to the research project, Demonstrated research experience in delay-Doppler waveform design or closely related areas, mathematical and/or algorithmic capability, Experience with software packages such as Matlab/Python, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, Commitment to collaborative research and teamwork, citizens of the Five Eyes Alliance (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States) or NATO member countries, ability to work within any applicable project confidentiality, contracting and security requirements, Australian Police/criminal history check, International Police/criminal history check, compliance with applicable Defence-related legislation and project security requirements, including Defence Export Controls and Safeguarding Australia’s Military Secrets legislation where relevant

Nice to Have

Excellent knowledge of the field of communication theory, Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and the ability to work to deadlines, Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, Commitment and ability to work with graduate and research students, track record of independent research in digital communications and/or signal processing, as evidenced by research publications in high quality international journals and conferences
