Full Job Description
The candidate is expected to conduct research on topics at the interface of quantum information and machine-learning. The overall aim has been to improve the current state-of-the-art techniques of understanding how quantum information processing can enhance our ability to understand and process information. **Key Responsibilities:** * Publish papers in areas related to quantum information and machine learning * Aid in supervision of FYP and PhD students on topics of quantum information and machine learning Keys areas of research include: * Quantum Channels * Distributed Quantum Computation * Black-box Quantum Computation * Quantum Correlations and Resources * Quantum Benchmarking **Job Requirements:** * PhD in theoretical quantum information or related field. * Excellent verbal/written communication skills. * Ability to communicate technique ideas to interdisciplinary scientific audiences. * Previous experience in quantum communication channels (not compulsory but good to have) * Previous experience in quantum resource theories (e.g., coherence) (not compulsory but good to have) * Previous experience in quantum machine learning.
