Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience, Valid Class “C” vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment

Nice to Have

Experience or certification in aggregates, binder, and mixture laboratory testing, Experience in pavement field testing, Accreditation in aggregates, binder and mixture testing through the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association

What You'll Do.

Performs laboratory testing. Records

analyzes and summarizes laboratory test results.

Includes test results in reports and other deliverables to Principal Investigators (PIs).

Offers insights and observations based on results to PIs.

Conducts field testing and pavement condition surveys.

Assists and coordinates field visits including procuring and shipping materials and obtaining field cores.

Works with research staff and trains and assists graduate students

in laboratory and field testing.

Maintains an inventory of received and stored materials.

Orders and purchases supplies to complete project-related work activities.
