Must Have
Minimum two years’experience as a Research Coordinator in a Canadian environment, Advanced knowledge of Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans, Advanced knowledge of Health Canada’s Part C, Division 5 of the Food and Drug Regulations
Nice to Have
Previous experience in Oncology, Certification as a Clinical Research Associate (SOCRA/ARP) or in the process of completion
What You'll Do.
Obtain patient consent
Assist Investigators in new research initiation
Ensure eligibility requirements met
Facilitate cancer treatment schedule
Carry out study procedures
Coordinate laboratory activities
Coordinate pharmacy activities
Coordinate diagnostic activities
Prepare specimens for shipping
Schedule patient appointments
Liaise with hospitals
Liaise with health service facilities
Adhere to research regulations
Collect data accurately
Transcribe data accurately
Report Adverse Events
Report Serious Adverse Events
Respond to sponsor queries
Maintain source documentation
Ensure test reports available
Ensure progress notes available
Ensure toxicity assessments available
Interact with sponsoring agencies
Assist monitors during site visits
Participate in educational programs
Participate in workshops
Participate in seminars
Represent Oncology Department at meetings
