Full Job Description
School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. The EEE Rapid-Rich Object SEarch (ROSE) Lab focuses on research in: (i) visual search & retrieval, (ii) video analytics & deep learning, and (iii) multimedia forensics & biometrics. Resources at the ROSE Lab consist of NTU faculty, researchers, PhD students, and visiting researchers from other institutions from around the world, as well as large-scale GPU computing facilities for deep learning. Our Lab aims to hire a Research Associate to support the Project Lead on the development of adversarial robust large vision language models. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct research into adversarial attack and defense mechanisms, and robustness of Large Vision Language Models (LVLMs). * Conduct and execute deep learning experiments to benchmark, evaluate, and optimize model performance against adversarial vulnerabilities. * Manage the research repository codebase, ensuring clean architecture, open-source documentation, and reproducibility. * Write comprehensive research reports, technical manuscripts, and academic publications for funding review and workshops. * Assist in drafting proposals for new research grants in the designated domains. **Job Requirements:** * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, or a related field. * Research background in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Large Vision Language Models (LVLMs), with a focus on model benchmarking and optimization. * Proficient in Python and PyTorch
