**Research assistant in “Quantum computing engineer”** The Nanyang Quantum Solutions team led by Prof. Marek Gluza at NTU Singapore is seeking a new member to propose new quantum algorithmic solutions based on Riemannian geometry. With whom? With Prof. Marek Gluza at NTU Singapore who is eager to debate with you whether double-bracket quantum algorithms or a different approach are the right one when executing on Helios or Heron. The research group is being formed and see for the intended culture centered on the idea of serving experimental efforts through theoretical support developing quantum middleware solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform quantum compilation optimizing towards successful execution on quantum hardware. * Support research on quantum algorithms by performing auxiliary data processing tasks. * Analyze prospects of new research directions **Job Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or related field * At least 1 years of relevant experiences in research on quantum computing, e.g. final year project * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Proficiency in material covered by Nielsen and Chuang’s textbook * Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details, excellent organizational and time management skills.
