Must Have

bachelor’s degree, Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i. e. , MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers, Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all scientific, personal & health sensitive information

Nice to Have

degree in biology or other biomedical sciences, prior experience in biomedical science research and/or biomarker and animal model research, Experience with statistical software

What You'll Do.

support basic and clinical research activities using approved molecular and genetic techniques in biomedical science

biomarker experiments with both MSD and ELISA platforms

animal model husbandry

gene and protein expression analysis

experimental data analysis

executing protocols involving a variety of routine and some non-routine experiments

Molecular biology and biomarker experiments

Molecular genetics and animal model studies

Manage and organize weekly lab meetings

and scientific collaboration meetings

support daily research operations and ad hoc duties as assigned

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

collaborating as part of a team to support biomedical scientific research operations and collaborations with other research teams; Works collaboratively with the faculty, scientists, students, and other research staff in the lab and department to support daily research operations and ad hoc duties as assigned

Communication Scope

Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally with scientists, clinicians, and research staff, in person, by phone, and via email
