Sample preparation and laboratory inventory management
Mouse handling and colony maintenance
Genotyping and breeding management
Assistance with animal procedures and tissue harvesting
Record keeping and compliance with IACUC protocols
Monitoring animal health and maintaining accurate colony databases
Preparation of reagents and buffers
Maintenance of laboratory equipment
Organization of laboratory supplies and ordering
Data recording and basic analysis
Assisting with manuscript figures
and laboratory meetings
Supporting trainees and collaborative projects
Sample preparation and submission for assay

**Position:** Research Assistant, Nephrology **Location:** Boston, MA **Schedule:** 40 hours per week, On-site **POSITION SUMMARY****:** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented full-time Research Assistant to join a translational vascular biology and kidney disease research laboratory. The successful candidate will participate in ongoing projects focused on chronic kidney disease (CKD), vascular biology, thrombosis, dialysis access dysfunction, and transplantation-related complications.
