Job Summary: Position broadly supports multiple ongoing research projects under the direction of HSCRB Professor Richard Lee. The Lee laboratory uses biotechnologies to discover and design new approaches to cardiovascular and metabolic diseases using a variety of techniques including stem cell and molecular biology. Job-Specific Responsibilities: More specifically, the research assistant will: * Maintain tissue cultures (feed, expand, and split cells) * Characterize cells by standard molecular, cellular, and functional methods * Carry out rodent animal husbandry (breeding, genotyping, metabolic and protein assays) * Perform tissue histology and immunohistochemistry techniques according to established protocols; Analyze data and document experimental results * Maintain equipment, make stock solutions used in methods above, and contri
