What You'll Do.
participate in research aimed at understanding the development and function of the nervous system using experimental and computational approaches
work in the following areas: immunohistochemical work on nervous tissue
working with animal husbandry to maintain appropriate stocks and perform experiments in specific genetic backgrounds
perform molecular biology experiments to test the genotype and background of animals
perform imaging studies of various tissues to determine the cellular identity and localization of genes/proteins of interest
perform behavioral studies in animal models
