What You'll Do.
assist in the Hagler Lab
investigates how RNA interactions influence gene expression in cells using chemical biology approaches
design and conduct experiments
analyze and interpret data
contribute to the development of new experimental methods
providing skilled administrative and managerial support
assisting with research planning
coordinating specific phases of the research project
and coordination of experiments focused on RNA interactions in cells by selecting appropriate methods
maintaining detailed research records
and assisting undergraduate
and other research staff
Utilizes analysis software
and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data and statistical analyses
evaluate research experiments
and summarize and report findings
Assists with the installation
and repair of research equipment
and communicates with vendors to procure new equipment and consumable materials for the lab
Assists in preparing and writing funding proposals and manages financial accounts related to research projects
