Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).** **Hiring Unit:** Professor Claude Bhérer’s Lab \- Department of Human Genetics **Supervisor:** Prof. Claude Bhérer **Position Summary:** Professor Claude Bhérer’s Lab needs Research Assistant 2 position for supporting a collaborative research project on complex diseases through genetic epidemiology analyses. _Contract Period:_ June 22, 2026, to October 23, 2026. _Responsibilities include:_ * Conducting analyses such as polygenic risk score (PRS) construction and Mendelian randomization to investigate genetic contributions to disease risk and outcomes. * The role includes developing and implementing scripts and scalable analytical workflows to support data processing and research activities. * The Research Assistant 2 will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, contribute to data interpretation, and support the generation of high-quality and reproducible research outputs. * May write theoretical or methodological reports, papers or articles related to research activities. * Responsible for the quality and results of their own work. * May provide technical guidance and training to research staff, including Research Assistants 1, Undergraduate/Graduate Student Research Assistants and Technicians, in the execution of tasks related to research projects. * Performs various administrative tasks related to the project. **Qualifications:** * MSc in Human Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field. * Background in human genetics, genetic epidemiology, and stati
