Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).** The Transportation Research at McGill (TRAM) research group, located within McGill University’s School of Urban Planning, invites applications for a Research Assistant 2 (RA2). The RA2 will report to lab director and principal investigator Prof. Ahmed El-Geneidy. The incumbent will be managing and coordinating various projects led by Prof. El-Geneidy, but will be mostly concentrating on the federally funded project examining the impacts of Montreal’s Réseau express métropolitain (REM) light-rail funded by Canadian Institute of Health Research and (CIHR) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and a second project Linking accessibility measures to individuals' behavior and wellbeing in the Canadian context funded by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Among other things, the incumbent will help lead surveys, in-person interviews, data collection, and analysis, and partner coordination. **Duties and Responsibilities** : The successful candidate will participate in and help guide all activities related to the two projects. These will consist of, among other things: **Responsibilities:** (i.) Conducts research with minimal supervision on the effects of transportation projects such as the REM and the Pie-IX BRT on land use and business performance and any other projects under the scope of the research proposals.
