What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Science, three (3) years related experience, Experience using statistical analysis and data management software applications, Ability to apply a range of fundamental research principals, theories, concepts and techniques relating to data collection and management, excellent competency in written and verbal communications, Highly developed computer and Internet skills
Nice to Have
R considered an asset, SQL considered an asset, RedCap or data management software experience highly valued, Knowledge of research regulations and guidelines preferred (such as ICH/GCP, Tri-Council Policy, Declaration of Helsinki, PHIPA), Experience developing, and working according to, SOPs
What You'll Do.
Coordinate and manage clinical and research data collection
Conduct literature searches and reviews
and organize research databases
Liaise with internal teams
external collaborators
Assist with Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions
Participate in the review and implementation of data collection strategies
Generate statistical summaries
and scholarly activities
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Liaise with internal teams, external collaborators, and institutional departments regarding data flow and project coordination; work with a team of clinicians and clinician-scientists
Communication Scope
written and verbal communications; communication skills
Process & Methodology
Ability to manage competing demands, independently coordinating and prioritizing relevant projects
