**_Job Family_ :** Nurse Practitioner ** _Travel Required_ :** None ** _Clearance Required_ :** Ability to Obtain Public Trust ** _What You Will Do_ :** We are currently searching for a Research Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform patient care and scientific research support services to the NIH This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bethesda, MD. Weekend rotation work will be required. * Provide patient care and support patient-related activities associated with clinical trial operations and biomedical research support services. * Function within a collaborative team of clinical providers and clinical research operations staff to support the coordination and execution of NIH research protocols. * Support biomedical research protocols and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including patients and families, to enhance clinical practice and care. * Perform patient care and scientific research services in line with research protocols. * Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and research staff to enhance clinical practice and care for patients and families. * Facilitate learning for patients and families. * Perform medical management of patients, incorporating critical thinking skills with advanced clinical practice and research skills. * Integrate research knowledge and evidence-based practices for patient care in accordance with clinical trial protocol requirements. **_What You Will Need_ :** * Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program * Must have a fully active, unrestricted PA or NP certification OR be able to obtain certification within 60 days of application. * Minimum of TWO (2) years of patient care experience. * Experience in a clinical research setting and knowledge of research regulations. * Able to work a rotating weekend schedule as assigned. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.
