Close out returns on SAP
Participate in Service Tools sustaining projects
Participate in new product development
Communicate repair and maintenance issues
Execute reports for management

Provide sales assistance to distributors

INFICON is a leading provider of innovative instrumentation, critical sensor technologies, and Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 software solutions that enhance productivity and quality of tools, processes, and complete factories. These analysis, measurement and control products are essential for gas leak detection in air conditioning/refrigeration and automotive manufacturing. They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications. Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety. This role is responsible for managing warranty claims and repairs for Service Tools products, including thorough documentation of findings and resolutions. The position also provides phone support to assist customers and internal teams. The successful candidate will work independently to manage daily responsibilities while collaborating effectively within a team environment. The purpose of this role is to handle all Service Tools product repairs. This includes both in warranty return evaluations, and out of warranty billable repairs. Provide technical support to INFICON Service Tools’ network of distributors, sales representatives and end-users. Additionally, this role provides backup assistance for our customer service and sales teams. Items include but not limited to: * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to module and component level. Maintain, service, and repair multiple product lines. Test and verify operation of repaired equipment. * Properly process all warranty returns and out of warranty repairs for Service Tools through establis
