Must Have
Knowledge and understanding of the IT Service Management (ITSM) system, Knowledge and understanding electrical, electronic and mechanical schematics, Able to perform a variety of technical duties, including remedial and preventative maintenance of customer equipment and assets, Knowledge of diagnostic systems to debug and isolate complex faults to component level, Ability to comply with written procedures and instruction including following directions, Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to effectively liaune with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, Take responsibility for meeting task deadlines safely and accurately, Ability to work in a high paced environment, Positive attitude, Team player, Committed to achieving quality outcomes, Adapt to changing environment, Ability to lift heavier items - exposed at times to manual handling (lifting), National Police Check
Nice to Have
Diploma in Electronics Engineering, or Certificate IV in Engineering or similar, Experience in fault-finding to component level and remedial service of microprocessor-based electromechanical devices, Experience in handling computers and software applications (rebuilding a PC component level equipment), knowledge of computer hardware and IT literacy

Explore more on Cubic.com. # **Job Details:** **Job Summary:** Conduct fault finding to component level tasks and repairs. Supports stakeholders with software-based and configuration upgrade to ensure all devices within the network are operational. Ensure KPIs for components are met and the performance positively contributes to the Cubic Transportation Systems overall business goals. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. **Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:** * Diagnoses and troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical equipment by use of computer-based test programs, verbal/ written instructions and general-purpose test equipment * Interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders * Utilise, install, verify and trouble-shoot required/loaded software on both testing equipment and customer return devices according to Software Release Notifications (SRN) * Read schematics, diagrams to determine methods of assembly and repair * Operate diagnostic systems to debug and isolate complex faults to component level * Repair faulty units by replacing defective components and retest before release * Rework of printed circuit boards (PCBs), with both surface mount and through hole components * Perform in-house preventative maintenance and refurbishment of major modules * Maintain accurate records of all daily work
