High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, 3-5 years’ relevant experience required, Demonstrated understanding of plant systems and equipment, including but not limited to grain handling systems, processing machinery, industrial dryers, pumps, centrifuges, electrical installations, and basic Programmable Logic controller (PLC) programming, Knowledge of the design principles, operation and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including the ability to interpret related schematics and apply appropriate troubleshooting methods, Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical theory and technical skills, including the proficient use of appropriate tools, materials, and diagnostic equipment such as voltage meters, megohmmeters (meggers), and ammeters, Ability to perform basic welding using arc, MIG, and/or TIG welding techniques, Proficient in troubleshooting AC and DC electrical systems, including power distribution networks, control panels, and electric motors, as well as adjusting and calibration instrumentation associated with process equipment, Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools, including but not limited to laser alignment systems, calipers, dial indicators, and vibration analysis tools, Ability to read, interpret and apply information from Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), electrical schematics, and technical drawings, Capable of safely operating industrial equipment including scissor lifts, aerial lifts (e. g. , JLG) forklift, telehandlers (e. g. , SkyTrak), front-end loader and Skid steer loaders (e. g. , Bobcat)
