What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Licensed RDN, Bachelor's degree or college and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), Ability to provide 29 hours a week of availability for direct patient care, Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in your patient population's time zone throughout the week, Ability to commit to working until 8pm two evenings per week
Nice to Have
Eating disorder experience, Exposure/experience to family based eating disorder treatment approaches
What You'll Do.
Assist patients and families
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Guide process of exposure to fear/challenge foods
Communicate patient's meal plan
Echo treatment team’s directives
Assist with discharge planning
Update treatment plans weekly
Reassess nutritional needs
Deliver evidence-based nutrition education
Establish a therapeutic relationship
Thorough documentation
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with family members; Consulting in a collaborative fashion with the Equip treatment team; Communicate patient's meal plan, and any other special nutrition related concerns clearly to all team members; Echo treatment team’s directives in interactions with families; Reassess nutritional needs on an ongoing basis and communicates recommendations to treatment team; Experience working on interdisciplinary teams
