Must Have

Bachelor's degree completed or in progress, math foundation, particularly in competition math topics, Able to commit at least one semester with fixed teaching schedule (Fall semester ends in Dec. 2026), Available to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends, Available to attend a 5-day on-site training (paid) in San Jose, CA as part of onboarding

Nice to Have

Personal experience with AMC 8, AMC 10/12, or other math competitions is a plus, Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, or working with K–8 students is a plus

What You'll Do.

Teach AMC 8 math classes in a clear

and student-centered way

Deliver competition-focused lessons using Think Academy's curriculum

and instructional guidance

Support students in building problem-solving skills

mathematical thinking

and competition confidence

Introduce creative and challenging math topics beyond standard curriculum (combinatorics

Manage a virtual or in-person classroom and create a positive learning environment

Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback

Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress

and competition goals

Participate in teacher training

and ongoing professional development

Work approximately 30–40 hours per week

with most classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
