Administer payroll through Gusto and QuickBooks Online Payroll.

and ensure accurate COGS.
Record journal entries and maintain clean
audit-ready general ledgers.
Own the month-end close processes and support timely client reporting.
Handle sales tax filings and ongoing compliance.
Respond to ad hoc requests and adjust entries based on tools like Toast or other POS integrations.

You’ll be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple client accounts and should be just as comfortable reconciling a messy balance sheet as you are coaching a client through best practices. You’ll need to be system-savvy, detail-obsessed, and unafraid of ambiguity.
