Industry & Context.
Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walkingending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift., Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures., Good visual acuity with the ability to see color., Physical lifting up to 45-lbs frequently throughout the shift., Ability to lift 50+ lbs with assistance., Shift flexibility., This is a hands-on role for a 24/7 manufacturing facility., Our equipment operators are assigned to a team on a shift, 24/7 operation to support manufacturing., This can either be days, swing or night shift and weekends., Work days and shifts may change to help cover vacations/absences, during plant downtime or related events such as audits.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Minimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, math skills, PC skills, MS Excel, ERP applications, technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels, mechanical operations, Possess lift truck certification or ability to obtain lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks), verbal and written communication skills, Demonstrated work history, Consistent attendance
Nice to Have
dairy food manufacturing experience preferred, Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, SAP a plus
What You'll Do.
Provide rest breaks and meal periods for team members
Safe and efficient operation of production packaging and filling equipment
operate and replenish fiber gluer and/or taping equipment
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in detail
Collect routine product samples and perform routine seal integrity testing
Generate pallet identification labels in accordance to the production schedule
Set-up case coding equipment and validate product case codes
Verify and record accurate product case quantities
Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions
Perform routine equipment adjustments
Accurately and neatly complete production records
break relief reports and documents
Perform equipment change-overs
clean-up operations and equipment set-up
Perform environmental controls
Safe operation of lift truck
Perform product reclaim and rework operations
Support internal and external audits
Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures
Follow all established GMP’s and Food Safety requirements
Cross-train in all other departments
Perform good housekeeping

Position Responsibilities: * Provide rest breaks and meal periods for team members in identified process, filling and packaging positions in accordance with meal and rest period schedules. * Safe and efficient operation of production packaging and filling equipment as required. * Set-up, operate and replenish fiber gluer and/or taping equipment. * Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in detail without deviation. * Collect routine product samples and perform routine seal integrity testing to inspect the carton for leaks, tears and perform dye inspections for quality assurance. * Generate pallet identification labels in accordance to the production schedule. This includes the verification of case quantity, product, product ID and production dates. * Set-up case coding equipment and validate product case codes in accordance with code specifications. * Verify and record accurate product case quantities. * Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions. Follow the established notification protocol. * Perform routine equipment adjustments. * Accurately and neatly complete production records, break relief reports and documents. * Perform equipment change-overs, clean-up operations and equipment set-up. * Perform environmental controls. * Safe operation of lift truck. * Perform product reclaim and rework operations in accordance with reclaim guidelines. * Support internal and external audits. * Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures. * Follow all established GMP’s and Food Safety requirements. * Cross-train in all other departments, in order to fill time off or gaps in schedule. * Perform good ho
