Location: Kansas City, MO Workplace type: Onsite The Reliability Engineer will be the site’s technical authority on asset reliability, driving preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, eliminating chronic equipment issues, and improving uptime, safety, and maintenance effectiveness across the plant. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for improving equipment performance and maintenance effectiveness by developing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, leading reliability improvement initiatives, and providing technical expertise to maintenance and operations teams. This role partners closely with plant stakeholders to reduce equipment downtime, eliminate chronic failures, and support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role reports to the Planning and Control Manager. **_What you will do:_** * Develop, optimize, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and availability. * Serve as the site’s reliability subject‑matter expert, providing technical guidance and coaching to maintenance planners and technicians. * Lead reliability improvement initiatives, including bad actor programs, root cause analyses (RCA), and FMEAs to eliminate chronic equipment issues. * Utilize the CMMS (SAP) to manage maintenance data, equipment files, BOMs, and key reliabili
