The Opportunity Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for aReliability Engineer in our Metal Coating Lines (MCL) team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers. This rare opportunity welcomes engineering disciplines coming from either Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical with a background in heavy industrial/manufacturing maintenance. Reporting directly to the MCL Asset manager, in this role you will operate within a multi-skilled team focusing on the delivery of sustained improvement in process uptime and unit cost reduction to our plant assets. To ensure operational productivity and asset improvement targets are achieved, you will bring an integrated and comprehensive approach to elimination of defects, identifying and leading improvement projects, coaching team members while minimising risk to the business.
