What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Proven experience in release management within financial services or complex technical environments, understanding of SDLC, understanding of version control systems (e. g. , Gititbucket), understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Experience with testing methodologies, particularly regression testing, an understanding of different testing types (e. g. , batch, integration, performance), Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

Understanding of financial market data, risk, and P&L concepts is beneficial

What You'll Do.

Oversee and manage the structured Kannon release process

from initial code cut to bank-wide production deployment

Ensure robust user acceptance and regression testing

Manage Kannon code branches and their respective deployed snapshots and builds

Define release versions

Ensure the timely execution of release activities

Adhere to established timelines

Manage the integration of critical fixes (patches) into releases

Ensure all changes are thoroughly unit tested

Identify and document impacted regressions

Coordinate with dependent applications on their release cycles

Manage resulting impacts or test failures

Oversee the regression testing cycle

Manage regression workflows and sign-off processes

Review acceptable differences based on defined tolerance limits

Ensure proper approvals from various stakeholders

and comprehensive updates on release status

Act as a point of escalation for release-related issues

Facilitate investigation

and resolution of systematic and batch-specific problems

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate closely with development teams (C++ and Python); Collaborate with various stakeholders across the bank; Coordinate with dependent applications on their release cycles; Provide clear, timely, and comprehensive updates on release status, issues, and patches to all relevant teams and stakeholders

Communication Scope

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences
