## Description The Product Software Release Engineering team is responsible for orchestrating the release process across multiple code bases, including client, cloud, and vehicle systems, from development through production. Our autonomous vehicles depend on seamless software performance for tasks such as trip charging and rider interactions. The effectiveness of these missions directly relies on the stability and scalability of our backend infrastructure. As a Product Software Release Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the build-and-release process, ensuring the delivery of robust software that powers Zoox’s innovative autonomous vehicles. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our continuous integration, version control, and build systems, driving efficiency and scalability. We are seeking engineers with strong technical expertise in build systems, version control, and continuous integration, who are passionate about improving processes and driving excellence in software delivery. ## In this role, you will Secure Delivery Orchestration: Maintaining safe continuous delivery by bridging the gap between integration, quality assurance, and software engineering. Release Oversight: Managing the release of simulation tools and autonomy software, which involves regression analysis and vehicle-level testing coordination. Cross-Functional Alignment: Securing formal approvals from stakeholders to confirm that all releases are production-ready. Define and track readiness indicators to ensure every release adheres to established safety and performance standards. Scale and refine automation systems to decrease manual effort and optimize deployment workflows. ## Qualifications 3-5 years of experience working as a release/ build engineer and managing releases for large, complex products Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience Familiarity of source control (Git), branch management, and conflict resolution
