Outside sales calling is required., Physical demands: Sit for extended periods of time. Stand for extended periods of time. Perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movement. Use electronic office equipment such as a computer keyboard, mouse, ten key, telephone, etc. View and read computer screens for extended periods. Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate’s degree (A. A. ) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or two to four years’ related experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience., PC experience navigating in a Windows environment and using various applications., Basic internet skills., Outgoing, professional attitude with customers, prospects, and co-workers., Verbal and written communication skills., Handle multiple tasks at the same time., Excellent attention to detail.
Nice to Have
Production generation experience preferred., Previous experience selling financial products., Previous experience growing and developing an existing customer base.
What You'll Do.
Sell a full range of banking services and products to individual customers and small businesses.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Actively solicit new customers.
Interview consumer or commercial loan customers.
Process consumer loans.
Provide sales leadership to staff.
Participate in branch external business development efforts.
Sell business products of a more complex nature.
Provide customer service per Coastal's Core Values.
Interview and assess customer and non-customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services.
Communicate with customers in the branch
or during personal visits to local businesses.
Conduct phone follow-up and actively raise customer awareness of bank products and services.
Maintain an organized system for tracking and following up on customer needs and track monthly production to the branch goals.
Provide customer referrals to Treasury Management
and Real Estate Lending.
Provide timely resolution and follow through on customer issues and concerns.
Complete required account documentation according to bank guidelines.
Maintain current knowledge of banking rules and regulations and complete monthly online training.
Actively work with a book of customers to build relationships
grow the book's value to meet goals
and keep a firm grasp on the retention of our clients.
Represent Coastal positively and professionally.
Follow and comply with all regulatory and compliance regulations.
