How this Role Will Be Impactful _Rehanger are responsible for hanging all birds on the shackle line. This is in a fast-paced processing environment which requires repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and in a wet/damp environment. The applicant must be willing to wear all proper safety equipment and must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required._ **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * There are two different hanging areas after the bird comes out of the chillers. One area the bird is hung by one hind leg. The second area (dapec) the birds are hung by both of their legs. * After birds come out of the chiller, hanger is responsible to hang bird by one hind leg on the shackle. The number of skipped shackles per bird will depend on the number of individuals working in the hanging area. * Employees will rotate between the two areas throughout their scheduled day. * Complete any other tasks needed by supervisor and/or leads. **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** • When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. • May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. • May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. • May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. • Perform a variety o
