Experience understanding and operationalising a wide range of regulatory requirements within the Spanish financial services sector as well as reporting to Banco de España, Experience in the large-scale implementation and testing (UAT) of automated reporting solutions such as AXIOM, Able to propose dynamic solutions to problems and implement these changes quickly and safely, Great eye for detail, Numerically astute, Self-motivated, Hands-on, Take satisfaction in supporting colleagues, projects or tasks however big or small

What You'll Do.

and run day-to-day activities of Regulatory Reporting capabilities in Spain

Ensure horizon scanning and interpretation activities are correctly reflected in regulatory reporting returns

Monitor adherence to applicable rules on an ongoing basis

Identify and define any changes required to data and production quickly and safely

Proactively identify and interpret rules

and guidance applicable to Regulatory Reporting for the Spanish Branch

Ensure ongoing compliance in the production of returns

and maintain processes and controls required to document and evidence Monzo’s Regulatory interpretations

Ensure processes and controls in place to produce returns are compliant with applicable regulations

and timely reporting with appropriate governance

Work closely with engineers and data scientists to ensure efficient

and timely data sourcing throughout production processes

Prepare regulatory returns for Monzo’s Branch in Spain

Play a key role in the automation of Monzo’s regulatory reporting

specifically implementation

user acceptance testing (UAT) and maintenance

Ensure changes to processes that support regulatory reporting are implemented quickly and safely

Collaborate with Monzo EU (Ireland based) regulatory reporting team

as well as the UK based Group team

on transfer of best practice

Assist with consolidation of Spanish Branch activity in group reporting

Help understand regulatory implications of new products and services
