# Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT # ## ## Department: Emergency, ER Location: Scarborough, ON ## Compensation: $19.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience ## Employment Type: Full-time ## Position Type: Existing position **Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital** (TVEH) is expanding our ER Team, with Registered Veterinary Technicians ready to enhance their skills while supported in a collaborative team. TVEH is a state-of-the-art veterinary emergency and referral hospital that delivers expert care and treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Join our dynamic team at TVEH, where our Triage RVTs play a vital role in assessing incoming patients, prioritizing care, and assisting DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, admissions, and discharges.: * Administer anesthesia for emergency procedures (e.g., GDVs, foreign bodies) * Provide hands-on patient care for cases like blocked cats, gastroenteritis, fractures, GDVs, and autoimmune diseases * Assist with stabilization, surgical procedures, and post-op management alongside our specialists * Be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering top-tier emergency veterinary care in the GTA **Schedule** : Our triage RVT team rotates on a 4-on, 4-off schedule, with two 10-hour day shifts followed by two 10-hour evening shifts.
