What You'll Do.
Conduct Pulmonary Function testing
Schedule Pulmonary Function tests
Review physician consults
Perform Pulmonary Function tests
Assist physician with bronchoscope
Prepare patient for procedure
Deliver aerosolized medication treatment
Prepare medication for bronchoscopy
Obtain arterial blood
Record blood gas results
Notify physician of abnormal results
Evaluate test results
Submit billing information
Administer Pulmonary Function tests
Submit results for interpretation
Fax final results to physician
Maintain PFT Laboratory
Monitor respiratory status during bronchoscopy
Troubleshoot bronchoscopy equipment
Arrange for equipment repairs
Submit billing information for bronchoscopy
Maintain log book of bronchoscopies
Clean bronchoscopy equipment
Maintain glutaraldehyde solution
Document glutaraldehyde results
Monitor vital signs during bronchoscopy
Assist in transport of patients

Participate in Pulmonary Rehab program staffing
Print Cardiopulmonary Exercise Stress test reports
Submit billing information for Cardiopulmonary Exercise Stress test
Ensure accuracy of PFT Laboratory equipment
Maintain calibration of equipment
Maintain documentation of calibration results
Perform Electrocardiograph tests
Prepare patient for Electrocardiograph testing
