Must Have
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care, Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s Degree, Experience in critical care, Neonatal/pediatric experience when appropriate for site, Experience performing invasive procedures preferred when appropriate for site, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Establishes a good rapport with fellow associates while maintaining a professional relationship. Responsible for Critical Care Ventilators, assessment and management of pulmonary conditions of patients and responding to Code Blue. Draws and analyzes arterial blood gases. May assist with Bronchoscopy duties. Patient populations served may include neonates, infants, pediatrics, teens, adults and geriatrics with the potential for neonate and/or pediatric patient only through the Emergency Room (until they are transferred hospital RT staff only).
