What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Registered by the State of California as a professional forester in good standing, Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
Nice to Have
Two (2) years’ experience in hazard tree removal projects along utility rights of way
What You'll Do.
Coordinate with property owners
and public agencies for vegetation management (VM) work
Conduct pre-inspections
and field inspections
Support emergency and storm response efforts
Provide professional forestry advice regarding PG&E timberlands
Assist in planning and organizing timber complete required documents
Perform CALFIRE and agency pre-inspections
Monitor and audit logging contractors
Conduct timber inventory and appraisals
Maintain relationships with agencies
Act as liaison with local PG&E personnel
Supervise tree replacement and seedling planting projects
Promote and enforce job site safety
