What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current registration, and in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS required, Medication administration certificate and patient assessment course required for RPNs graduating prior to 2005, Recent experience within the last five years with a minimum of two years post-operative in-patient surgery experience, Experience with pain management using different modalities (patient controlled analgesia) required, Knowledge, experience and the ability to care for patients with the following, but not limited to: initiation and maintenance of IV therapy, phlebotomy, administration of mediations above the drip chamber, blood and blood product administration, blood glucose monitory, nasogastric tubes, chest tubes, ostomy and wound management skills, enteral and parenteral feeding, routine and additional infection control precautions, normal and abnormal values, Excellent physical assessment skills required

Seniors gentle persuasive approaches training, or experience with seniors preferred
