Must Have
Completion of college, or other approved Registered Practical Nursing program, Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification, Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse, Completion of a recognized Operating Room (Perioperative) course required, Current Operating Room experience 2-4 years required
Nice to Have
Robotic program experience, ECHMO program experience, VAD experience, Minimally Invasive Surgery experience, Living Related Donor program experience
What You'll Do.
Contributing to the patient assessment process
Implementing patient care plan that include performing and/or providing assistance that include a limited range of strategies and interventions
collaborating with other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team
Acting as patient advocate
Contributing to the smooth functioning of the department
Performing the duties of the scrub nurse consistent with the job description as assigned
Performing other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned
