Must Have
Current registration, and in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS required, Medication Administration certificate, patient assessment course required for RPNs graduating prior to 2005, Minimum two years of hemodialysis experience within the last five years required, Nephrology certificate required or enrolled and will successfully complete Nephrology certificate within 18 months of hire, Completion of vascular access modules from the Ontario Renal Network required, Must pass nephrology quiz by obtaining 80% to move onto interview phase, Knowledge of the Nephrology Nursing Standard and Practice Recommendation and Canadian Association of Nephrology Nurses an Technologist as they relate to hemodialysis including all procedure pertaining to patient preparation, treatment and monitoring during and after procedure required
